If you are struggling to make ends meet, here’s a new initiative from our friends at the Royal British Legion to give veterans and their families grants of up to £2,400 to help pay bills – check if you’re eligible and how to apply

RBL have launched the scheme after seeing a 20 percent increase in requests for urgent support. The help is means tested, but those eligible can receive up to £200 a month for up to a year to help pay their bills.
