Great to have the team from 1 RYORKS in the Military Village at the Great Yorkshire Show with vehicles and a weapons stand that certainly drew the crowds, including cadets and instructors from the Astra Academy Dearne CCF.

Congratulations also to 1 RYORKS Pte Damien McDonald awarded the annual Yorkshire Agricultural Society – ‘Best Soldier’ Award 2023 for his excellent perfomance during Corunna Company’s conversion to Light Mechanised Infantry and preparation for Op SHADER.

And, a pleasure to welcome over 120 guests to our annual Cocktail Party who were welcomed by teh Colonel of The Regimnet and entertained by the Band of the Royal Yorkshire Regiment.
